Returning to Worship

Returning to Worship

On Sunday, May 17, we are returning to worship together in the church sanctuary. For the first two weeks, we will meet only at 11AM on Sunday and will be following the guidelines detailed below. We would love to have you come visit with us!

CRESCENT HILL BAPTIST CHURCH

GUIDELINES FOR GATHERINGS

DURING COVD-19 CRISIS

  • If you or anyone in your household have been sick or have exhibited symptoms of an illness during the week prior to a church gathering, please worship with us from home
  • Enter and exit the church facility through the main sanctuary entrance
  • Allow greeters to open doors for you and limit contact with door knobs and other “high-touch” surfaces
  • Maintain CDC recommended minimum distance of six feet between members of your household and members of other households
  • Refrain from physical contact with members of another household
  • If possible, remain in the sanctuary during the worship service
  • Restrooms are available, but should only be used for emergencies
  • No childcare will be available during the service
  • Please use the family room off of the church foyer to quite upset children
  • Pew hymnals and Bibles will be removed from the sanctuary in order to limit “high-touch” surfaces
  • Place your offering in the offering basket located in the church foyer as you leave the service
  • You are welcome to wear masks and gloves during our gatherings, but they are not mandatory
  • If you are uncomfortable gathering with a group at this time, please worship with us from home
  • The Sunday morning worship service will continue to be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube, and sermon CDs will be available upon request

*These guidelines are in effect for the weeks of 5/17-5/30. Additional instructions will be provided during the service and new guidelines will be issued on 5/31. Please observe these guidelines for the sake of your safety and the safety of other church members. Observing these guidelines will make it less likely that we will have to suspend services again before the end of the COVID-19 crisis.
